Global Perspectives & Research A Level

The Cambridge A Level Global Perspectives & Research syllabus builds on the knowledge and skills acquired at O Level. Learners are introduced to more complex global issues and are required to conduct independent research. They are also required to develop a research project on a global issue of their choice.

The syllabus covers a range of topics, such as:
• Global governance
• International relations
• Development economics
• Environmental sustainability
• Human security
• Migration and globalization
• Technology and society
Learners are taught to think critically about these issues from a variety of perspectives and to develop solutions that are evidence-based and sustainable. They are also taught to communicate their ideas effectively in a variety of formats.
